My husband and I had been without a proper lawn for ourselves and our dogs for over four years after the 1980s sprinkler system finally gave up on us. Because we were remodeling our home at the time we had to deal with the extended period of neglect at which point the “devil” weeds gradually moved into the barren desert that became our backyard making it dusty, hot, and miserable to walk on especially for dog paws. I couldn’t imagine one more summer of dust bowl, so we finally had enough and called Troy to come out for an estimate. We were impressed right out of the gate with Troy’s professionalism, knowledge, and how he truly listened to what we wanted. He talked through our vision to ensure he got it just right and spent what I thought was a surprising amount of time working through it with us for a free estimate. The estimate turned out to be very fair and thorough as well as aligned to our goals. We were sold. Our project included an entirely new sprinkler system, sod, flagstone work, various plantings, mulch, and a whole lot of rockscaping all on approximately 5000 sq ft. Troy was here every day since he only does one project at a time to provide the highest quality oversight and service. His crew was also fantastic! They always arrived on time over the two weeks they were here and were also very professional, polite, and a pleasure to have on property. All in all, we are VERY happy with the results and now have our own private oasis to enjoy. We tell everyone about Suncrest now when outdoor landscaping topics arise. We hired Troy to help refresh portions of our established backyard (plantings, stone paths, a new planter box), replace the entire drip system and get our fountain up and running. We met daily to establish the plan, and his ability to suggest ideas without imposing his will, letting us become partners in the process, was appreciated and invaluable to the outcome. Troy, Dale and Filipe did an amazing job of installing a new rock landscape. Troy came up with a beautiful design using two types of rock. He listens well, aims to please and provides excellent customer service. The crew arrived early every day to set up and worked diligently throughout the day. They were easy and friendly to communicate with. All crew members were efficient and professional at performing and cleaning up the site. They returned the day after the job was completed to make a last-minute adjustment for me at no additional cost. Troy’s prices are reasonable for the quality of the product and service.
