Rogers crews demo’d our old retaining wall and built a new 80 foot retaining wall in our back yard as well as extending our concrete driveway in front! The crews were very skilled, personable and on time every day! The quality of the planning and the work were outstanding and I would recommend Rogers enthusiastically…excellent company

Rogers Landscape re-landscaped our front yard. The ground cover we had installed originally had died, and we wanted a different watering system. They removed the ground cover, installed sod in its place, upgraded plants, added a stepping stone path, and removed and replaced the old irrigation system. Andrew was very helpful with suggestions while also accepting my ideas. The crew was especially hard-working, exceptionally nice, and made changes whenever I asked. We couldn't have had a better experience. The entire project took 5 working days. We now love our front yard, and are happy to say grass and plants are happy and doing well! We have used two companies prior to finding Rogers Landscaping with poor results. From the beginning we had a good feeling. Their recommendations and design ideas were amazing. They gave us a schedule and never deviated from the dates. Their communication during the job was beyond our expectations. Theirs employees were amazing as well. We highly recommend this company. I am so sorry to write this, but I am at my wits end. I was recommended this group to install a professional landscape design by Christine Ferris. She made a lovely meticulous design, and said that she worked with them before. I was heavily on the fence at first because their quote was $18k. I received cheaper quotes/bids, but ultimately went with this group because of positive reviews saying you get what you pay for. I wanted to only do this once and get it done well. I let them know that I wanted Christine’s plan executed as exact as possible, and that I’d be willing to wait for all plants to be available to start, otherwise, we would check in with her for substitutions as stated in her design plan contract. Work began in March, when they expected to have all the plants. I had no idea what they would be doing the first day, or ever, really. I came home to see flagstone work had been done. *Regarding the flagstone, I bought and picked it up myself. They were going charge me at least $1k, and I picked them up for under $200. When I was picking my flagstone, I contacted Christine to ask if 1” was acceptable because 2” was so heavy for me to grab. She said 1” would be fine. Rogers Landscape picked up this flagstone and set it. While they worked with the flagstone, they never told me—until 1 month later after they “leveled it”—that I should have picked a different flagstone, and that they’d charge me another $1.5k to redo it. Anyway, March 10, day 1 that they worked—I let them know ASAP that I found the flagstone alignment to be too straight, so then I rearranged it exactly how I wanted it. I explained this, and emailed them later that I would be happy to be present at the time of doing flagstone work, to ensure it’s done correctly. Almost 2 weeks later, with no response from Andrew, I come home to see that they worked on the flagstone and it’s back to being ugly straight. I noticed multiple other mistakes occurred, even though I took extra care to communicate beforehand about them. (And it’s all stated in the plan) Pots were in wrong places, rubber feet weren’t used, flagstone was wrong, gravel in wrong places. Andrew stood me up for our 11:15am meeting. When I got him on a phone call at 2-3pm to express my frustration and expectations, he told me, “Am I here just to listen or are you going to keep interrupting?” He said that they couldn’t be responsible for the flagstone placement being imperfect if they get pushed by feet or a wheelbarrow. If you see my photo, that is NOT a result of such things. They disrespected my time, standing me up without proper communication. I had plans that I begrudgingly set aside because this took precedence for me. Jose came, and I explained the mistakes at the time. After they did work, I still found more mistakes that were just ridiculous. The rubber feet were sticking out all over, the pot placement was wrong, the bark they used wasn’t what I agreed on with them prior, they used a wrong fuschia plant, the potting was sloppy (root bundles sticking out/shallow, improper potting). Jose & Andrew tried to give me a different hydrangea plant. Andrew said the plants were the same, but I was concerned because the one I wanted (Let’s Dance blue jangles) was described to be compact with a smaller mature size than what they gave me (Early Blue Hydrangea). Jose said, if I looked at the tag of the Blue Jangles hydrangea, that it showed a pink hydrangea, not a blue one, so he picked the Early Blue. Ridiculous. The tag shows that the hydrangea can be pink or blue depending on soil pH. Their communication was awful. Andrew says they’ll leave the fuschia there until they acquire the gartenmeister. I come back to find that Jose took out the fuschia, contrary to what Andrew said. This Friday, they installed the fuschia again, and it’s another wrong fuschia? I can’t type more due to the limits, but I’m miserable and don’t find this to be worth $18,850. They lowered it to $17k, but it’s still unacceptable with the mistakes and poor communication I’m continuing to receive.

Its unfortunate to give just one star, but i would never recommend this company to anyone. Andrew, the owner, is dishonest and didn't oversee the project. He asked for a deposit to hold my place on his schedule, then pushed the date out significantly. The plants that were outlined on the planting schedule weren't what the installed. When i piunted out that the quote for 75' irrigation run was only 20' at most, he said hed come confirm and refund me the difference. That never happened. Rogers Landscape never completed the job and ghosted me when i trued to get answers. Try any other company for uour landscape needs. Or you'll be out thousands of dollars and not get wgat you agreed to upon payment.
